I start with an image in my head, 

inspired by the magnificence of nature,

and wish to share my heightened experience.

I mix and pour oil paint on canvas,

causing unexpected interactions between colors 

and suggesting forms which I cannot predict,

only guide.

The flow of the paint and my energy

become one.
